Splash Fills

Modular Splash Fills are designed to be installed in cooling towers where high thermal performance is required, but poor water quality does not permit the use of film fills. Brentwood’s AccuPac^®Modular Splash Fills are an alternative to film fills, as modular splash fills balance high efficiency with fouling resistance.

Splash bar fills are often considered when compromised waters are used for make-up, when there may be a high degree of dust or sand in the environment, or when process contaminants may be harmful to film-type fills. Splash bar fills work by interrupting the water stream with splash surfaces that cause the droplets to break up into smaller droplets. As more droplets are created, the air-water interface is increased, allowing for accelerated cooling and evaporation.

Brentwood manufactures everything you need to successfully install a splash fill system in your cooling tower. This includes supports, hanger brackets, wire hangers, and splash clips to ensure easy installation and to secure the fill in place.
